No surprise repair change
The listed service is the starting estimate. If inspection changes the repair scope or price, TechWeFix contacts you before unapproved work proceeds.
Repair coverage
Warranty coverage depends on the device and repair performed. Your final work order identifies the applicable coverage.
Use this service when the console has shown an overheating or temperature warning.
Do not select this for a device that will not power on. If inspection identifies a no-power or power-system fault, the repair is reclassified to the applicable power-repair service at $199.99 plus tax for Xbox Series X Power Repair. Diagnostic work, disassembly, cleaning, or repair work already completed cannot be reversed.
This service focuses on the cooling path, including dust removal from the fan, heatsink, vents, and accessible internal areas, followed by reassembly and thermal testing.
Do not ship a device with insects or infestation evidence.
TechWeFix does not service devices containing cockroaches, bed bugs, other insects, insect eggs, droppings/feces, or other evidence of an active infestation. If evidence is discovered after receipt or opening, service stops. The customer is responsible for reasonable, documented cleanup or professional pest-control costs directly caused by the contaminated device under the accepted Send-In terms.
Protect the device and your data.
- Back up important data whenever possible.
- Remove discs, games, SD cards, cases, and accessories unless they are needed to reproduce the problem.
- Use tracked shipping and keep the carrier receipt.
- Return-shipping insurance can be requested during checkout and is billed at the actual carrier cost when used.
- The device is not returned until the final approved balance is paid in full.
